why don't some people exercise there right to vote?

I think some people just don't think that their votes count. They aren't important enough or informed enough. Some people are just disillusioned. It is hard for some people to vote when they feel that the choices aren't worth their effort. The political arena is so jaded and dark, some people just don't want to get sucked into the dirtiness of it all.
